Galaxy SHi Naweej,
We’re truly sorry to hear that your Samsung Galaxy device is heating up, especially during light use such as scrolling TikTok. Let’s work together to resolve this concern. We also hope that you are using a Samsung‑original adapter and charger to power your device.
Here are a few steps you may find helpful:
Close background apps: Even when not in use, apps running in the background can contribute to heat and battery drain.
Review app settings: Social media apps can be resource‑intensive. Clearing cache or reinstalling TikTok may help reduce strain.
Enable power saving features: Turn on Adaptive Battery or Power Saving Mode to help manage consumption.
Allow cooling breaks: If the device feels warm, pausing use briefly can help it regulate temperature.
Run diagnostics: The Samsung Members app offers built‑in diagnostics to check battery health and performance.
Check once for updates: Go to Settings > Software Update to ensure your device is running the latest version, as updates often include performance optimizations.
We request you to follow the troubleshooting steps which mentioned on below link: https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/mobile-devices/causes-and-solutions-for-when-your-samsung-galaxy-...

Galaxy SThe S26 Ultra should not need to use "power saving" mode, it defeats the purpose of having Samsung's latest and most powerful device.

Galaxy SMy 11 day old Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra severly overheated. It was sent to Samsung then returned to me in the same condition. I took it to a samsung authorized repair place as suggested on here. It overheated on them as well and it was not plugged into the charger. Two techs examined it and said it is the motherboard that is severly overheating. It was so extreme they wanted it shut off immediately and I was told to keep it off because it could catch fire. I contacted Samsung again. It is going back.

Galaxy SI’m having the exact same issue with my device. It gets really hot specifically when I'm using TikTok, and the battery drains incredibly fast during that time. Has anyone found a solution or a fix for this yet?

Galaxy SI don't use TikTok, but maybe try TikTok Lite?
Seems like many people are only having the issue with TikTok?

Galaxy SWe're sorry to hear that your device heats up and the battery drains quickly, especially while using 3rd party apps. We’d like to help you troubleshoot this issue in a friendly and supportive way.
Check for updates: Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to ensure your device is running the latest software.
Clear app cache: Navigate to Settings > Apps > apps name > Storage > Clear cache. This can sometimes resolve performance issues.
Safe Mode test: Restart your device in Safe Mode by holding the power button, then pressing and holding Power off until you see Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, only default apps run. Try using 3rd party app, if the heating and battery drain do not occur, it may indicate that a third-party app is contributing to the issue.
Battery & device care: Go to Settings > Battery and device care to check for any unusual activity or apps consuming excessive power.
Background apps: Close unused apps running in the background, as they can increase heat and battery usage.
Kindly perform above steps and let us know.
