Galaxy SThe title says it all. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900H) with Android 6.0.1 (Build number MMB29K.G900HXXS1CRJ8)
1. Both device and SD card are encrypted
2. SD card reader stopped working
3. SD card still works and gets recognized on other phones, but because it is encrypted I can't access its contents.
4. Obviously I remember the password, I haven't factory reset the phone or anything like that. It is just the SD card reader that stopped working.
Any ideas on how to retrieve the actual decryption key so I can mount the SD card on linux and decrypt it there?
Anyone has a link on how samsung sd card encryption works under the hood?

Galaxy SHi there @user2341213, unfortunately in this case you would be unable to retrieve the decryption key. Due to our privacy policy, Samsung requires a factory data reset of all devices before conducting a repair.
Your next best option would be to look into places that can repair the card reader without resetting your device.
