I just got my Galaxy S8 today, 5 hours ago and I'm so disappointed. Samsung makes a beautiful new screen that does not work. I can hardly type, I'm struggling right now pressing so hard on the keys and multiple times over and over. You guys focused so much on the pressure sensor for the new navigation/Home keys that it seems you forgot to ensure the entire screen worked well. I've had so much problems navigating and using this phone I find it hard to enjoy all the other things.


Fast charge, where ? my phones been plugged in an stuck at 28% for 3hrs .... What is going on ?

you guys rushed so fast to get this out you forgot to ensure QUALITY! I feel in love an bragged about samsung with my first product the S6 and now I'm so let down. I hope this can be fixed. I know every new product has flaws but this is unacceptable how could you put out two previous models where screen navigation is smooth and fast charge is great an then go so wrong with this model.

PLEASE FIX THIS!

I would hate to return this phone.

Well you must be the first person on the world to have touch and battery problems. As far as I have heard the battery is really good, and touch is flawless.
I'd it's really the issue then you should take it to a Samsung store and get your problems addressed.

My S8+ I have had since a week before official launch and had zero issues. Very happy with this device in every way. Better battery and performs better then my S7 Edge for sure! I recommend returning your phone for warranty.

My s8+ is working great too. I drained the battery completely last night and it was fully charged in under 2 hours.
I agree with another poster about taking it into your nearest Samsung store. There is a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'll definitely be taking it for a check. I do know I'm not the first with these issues as I've seen multiple complaints on here about the same things but yeah hopefully samsung can do somwthing about it.

Hey @TechyGirl, this is probably the best option for the issues you're having. For the issue with screen sensitivity, does it happen without a screen protector as well? Let us know how it goes! -Nick

maybe try running the diagnostic check in the Samsung members app, has an area for touch screen

The touch is not flawless. I find it hard to change songs on my lock screen with the always on display. I find I have to tap multiple times to change tracks. I'd also like to say that I have a dead pixel on my phone and on white screens or more importantly using my VR, it just looks terrible, as there is a big black spot on the bottom of the screen. Also, Smart Lock doesn't like to stay activated and neither does the unknown sources button. I find they both default back to off after an hour.
