likely just stay on android 10 with security patches for 2 years as per Samsung's current software policy. however its possible that s9 may get android 11 if things change for the better.

as per some rumours and evidence posted in news article, we have seen multiple Samsung support people conform answers that s9 will get android q. Search up android 10 for s8

Yeah. Like the news S7 will get Pie. Every year you'll see the same thing from the news. Just like this year is now the S8. Year after that S9 so on and so forth. Unless someone can prove there's an open alpha or beta firmware... it doesn't exist.
