Just received an email today from Samsung Care+ team to call them to discuss my service request.

I found it weird at first but I called them and was pleasantly surprised.

To avoid any further delays, they have decided to offer me a cash reimbursement solution. With that amount, if I want to buy a new phone either in the Samsung store or on the Samsung website, I can just NOT add the Care+ and send them the proof of purchase and they will transfer the remainder of my plan over to that new device.

And the amount they had proposed basically covered the phone brand new.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. Very satisfied customer here. They have given me a satisfactory solution.

Well... besides maybe the wait cause I'm super impatient. And yup, I've learned my lesson, no more Exclusive colors 🤣

Yes. I'm guessing since I had an exclusive color and they had to change the whole back vs just the camera lens, it was taking too long for the production and to receive it.

So they went that route which I'm more than satisfied with.

I was afraid they would want to send me a refurbished device that wasn't at 100%

wow.. good so still getting s23 ultra? or a different one? lile z fold4? or does it have to be the same phone?

Lol idk. I was looking and still dno what I'd get. Maybe go back to a z fold 4 just to have one and use for work and business wise. With the rumors of the Z fold 5 out, it doesn't look like it'll change much so I don't feel like it would be worth buying in August.

Doubt I need a second S23 Ultra... been surviving without 2 ever since I had to send it in... lol

Was also thinking maybe just the S23+ or something.

They didn't say it had to be the same phone but when they'll send me my cheque, itll have more info for the transfer as well

if budget is not a concern go for the 4 hehe.. well i don't have foldables yet but thinking of the 5th gen z fold..

if you can still wait and the samsung refund won't expire wait till august hehe.. just my opinion hehe.. but that Samsung Care + you got is surely worth it..

I had the 4 and loved it. But had sold it for the S23 Ultra for the camera specs and battery life and also durability.

But ironically, never had an issue with the fold and had one with the S23 Ultra 🤣

I'm gonna have to find out if I can keep that cash settlement until August for the Fold 5 lol. If not, might just get the 4 again.

I don't mind either cause from what I've seen, the differences might not be that major.
