I just noticed that the Samsung email is not automatically installed on my S20 FE. On my a70, I was unable to uninstall the app.

Is this new, what app is Samsung suggesting I use, Outlook or Gmail?

Is the Samsung email app being discontinued?

Hi Tao77, I suggest you to please check if you are able to install the Samsung Email app from the Galaxy Store. Otherwise, you could install Outlook or other email applications of your choice as an alternative.

it's good that you are able to install the app.. you might have missed the installation of apps in the initial setup of the phone.. i could be wrong on that part but as for the reason it wasn't pre-installed, it's for the users complaining about bloatware so Samsung gave us that option..

Try search on Galaxy Store with the app name Samsung Email. See if you can find it and install it. Suppose this app is installed by default.

Also you can check
Open Settings → Apps
See if you have an app called Email.Screenshot_20201018-101202_Settings.jpg
