Hey users,

I bet that most of you didn't even noticed the flickering of some pixels on the screen while on a call.

Look for the same spot in your phone while on a call. Try to touch the screen in nearby areas of spot.
I tried this on Samsung S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra. They both have this issue.
I went to Samsung repair centre, they changed the screen (fortunately I was having care+), but issue remains.
On being thoroughly checked, they found out that its the sensor behind the screen, who is showing on screen while on call.
Its disappointing, that Samsung is a brand and for one of its best phones, it shows poor service while making a screen.

How many of you noticed it?

Hi GurjeetSingh,

Thanks for sharing your detailed observation. What you’re seeing isn’t a screen defect but rather the proximity/ambient light sensor becoming faintly visible during calls. On the S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra, this sensor is embedded under the display, which can sometimes create a subtle flicker or bright spot when the background is light and the sensor is active.

Replacing the screen won’t resolve this, as it’s part of the device design and not a hardware fault. We understand how this can feel disappointing, but please be assured it doesn’t impact performance or durability.

We also recommend submitting your feedback through the Samsung Members app → Support → Suggestions so it can be passed on to the development team for consideration in future models.

It's like purchasing a brand-new car with a faintly visible scratch, which sometimes shows up in the light.
And the company is saying it won't have any impact on performance or durability.
Rather than giving a new car.
