The delayed update isn't really my issue. But the fact that they have a PR department and no information was communicated to the users about the delay.

This was also my issue. Users should not have to rely on leakers and rumors to be made aware of these issues. This bug, if true, not only delays One UI 7 rollout but could potentially affect the millions who already have the update installed. Their PR team needs to wake up. *** even the official Samsung Caribbean account hasn't posted or said anything on here other than advertising their stuff. Do they even check this forum? Are there even moderators? Nah, Samsung needs to do better.

Have to agree with that. They are fully aware of eager wait from their customers . Communication is a must and even if a delay happens at least say we expect to resume rollout at this expected date .

I honestly don't mind the delay. They can take as long as they like, so long as they release something worth the wait and something that works. What I do mind is the blatant disrespect to their loyal fans and customers by refusing to communicate with them in order to lay their concerns to rest. At least have the decency to let us know your progress, estimated time of arrival for update or at least the reasoning behind delays if any. Staying silent in such cases is akin to telling your customers "Take it when y'all get it and be quiet until then!"

I've been a loyal Samsung user from the days of the Galaxy Wave devices up to current day. From building custom roms for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 long after Samsung ditched the device to now upgrading devices as they come. I won't jump ship to iOS but I will consider a different brand if only because of the lack of brand-customer communication lately.

I just spoke to support and there is no information on their end about the delay. I guess it's just a matter of timing. Tech support said my variant should be getting the update as scheduled which could be any time soon. Either they too are clueless or the reports are false.

They're clueless, as always. The update was pulled completely off their servers for devices that already had it, like mine the SM-S928U1. If you go to this address you'll see

o="14"
and then it will list the firmware available. It should read o="15" with the One UI 7 firmware package. That's what it read a few days ago when I updated. Now it's back to showing the One UI 6 package with the March security patch. They did pull it. Support is just not in the know.
