Galaxy SIt happened because you accidentally set Samsung Internet as your Default Browser.
Download something like Brave Browser, it will give you the option to select it as your Default Browser, then uninstall Brave Browser, then you'll have the choice of which browser you use.

Galaxy SThe reason why I suggested "accidentally", is occasionally Samsung Internet will popup with "Make Samsung Internet your default browser", and if you are moving quickly, it can happen that Samsung Internet is inadvertently selected as the default browser.
Keep this in mind for future reference, as you say that you resolved the issue.

Galaxy SHi Ry98,
If the shortcut for your forum is acting up, try removing it and re-adding it:
Delete the existing home screen shortcut by long-pressing it and selecting Remove. Open the Samsung Internet app, navigate to the site, and then tap the three-dot menu and select Add to Home screen to create a new shortcut.
Sometimes, clearing the cache can help with stubborn app behaviors: Go to Settings > Apps. Select Samsung Internet and then Storage. Tap Clear cache. You can also do this for Discord and any other apps that are misbehaving.
After trying these steps, please see if the issues with link handling and browser defaults are resolved!
Thank you.
