Samsung Messages - Archive?

I recognize that Google Messages is the new standard with RCS but to be honest, I'd prefer to remain with Samsung Messages. 

In saying that, the only feature on Google Messages that I truly value and the main reason I use the google app is the ability to archive text messages.

Will Samsung be adding the ability to archive text messages? If they did, I would use the Samsung app, I prefer it.

It's possible that Samsung may add Archive to Samsung's Messages, but I think that it's unlikely as Samsung seems to have discontinued development of Samsung Messages, in favour of Google Messages.

I'm not sure what you find with Samsung Messages, that you prefer to Google Messages?

I like the look of Samsung messages, or maybe I'm just old school and don't like change lol since I've been using smasung messages for so long lol

Thanks RDR, mostly one UI and that it is Samsung, not Google
