Samsung not replacing defective unit

I bought flip6. It's been about 10 days and I noticed it has dust under camera lens when under sunlight. 

I contacted samsung they said they only replace within 48 hours. On arrival inside my room it looked ok. It's hard to notice such thing.

So they're asking me to return the unit for full refund but issue is my trade in. Or they can repair it but then it's a refurbished phone. 

Is this the quality and support to expect for a $1700 phone? 

Samsung store verified there's no damage to phone and it's a defect for dust to be inside camera lens but they said I bought from Samsung.ca so only they can replace.
