So like in my post that day I said that I was in china right? I also use my phone as a speedometer for an 3 wheeler AIMA electric scooter (china is full of these scooters including 4 and 2 wheelers) and i use an app called realdash which I use for Beamng.Drive and that scooter I mentioned in this post and I keep forgetting the topic so when I use that app in the past (2023- This post date and later?) MY phone didn't heat up but now I am here at china on a trip and it heats up any samsung members that can help or something?

Phone is ip68 rated, stick it in a cup of ice.. 😂

Depending on the ambient temperature, and what the phone is performing, of course it can get warm.

Hi Scardycat18,

Make sure the RealDash app is updated to the latest version, as updates may include performance optimizations. And also, If you're using the phone in a hotter environment in China, the ambient temperature could cause the device to heat up more than usual.

Thank you.

The fact is most of my apps are downloaded with Google and many anti-Asians roam Google so it got banned and realdash remains to cook my phone into a stake

If you are using any Chinese apps, that might be the reason. If you use a Chinese SIM card, it will trun the phone to operate under the 'local policy' and it will restrict most of the background activities for you.

If you still have your Google apps on your phone, and when the phone consistently tries to connect to Google services, it will also heat up your phone. You can restrict its use and only use it when needed. Also, connect to a VPN for sure. If you also use a Chinese SIM card, it will also help to restrict background app usage as it will cause your phone to apply the 'local battery policy'. I know most parts of China are extremely hot now, so most phones will heat up because of the extreme weather conditions.
