Seems Samsung has an issue with the number 7:

 # S7/S7 edge battery fiasco

 # Note 7 battery fiasco

 # OneUI 7 debacle (who still haven't even bothered to advise customers or release a statement?!?)

Im starting to see a pattern here....

And to top it off OneUI 8 has apparently surfaced! Before your prior flagship phone has even been updated?? Going on 7 months late as it is.....

Probably my last Samsung phone.

What S7/S7 Edge battery issue?
It was only the Note7.

As with One UI 7, how is it 7 months late, when Samsung stated the "Next S series" would be the first to get it, at SDC24?

Incorrect, but the amount of misinformation being posted is ridiculous.

I also have devices waiting for the update.

Android 15 release in October 2024. Android 16 is a few months away from being released. Can you not see the issue here when a flagship device from last year STILL isnt on the current android version, and the new version is months away from being released? Or is your Samsung brown nosing clouding your ability to assess the situation from a purely unbiased view? And the S7 had exploding batteries as well. Maybe look it up?

As I said, if you bother to watch the SDC24 stream, Samsung stated it wouldn't release until the following S device was launched, which is the S25 series.

As for the S7 series, I asked a question, is that an issue?
I'm well aware if the Note7 as I had to return mine, but the S7 series were not cancelled like the Note7.

It's just a dirty tactic to push S25 sales. My pixel 6a is still receiving the latest updates from android 15 with Ai features. Stop fantasising One UI 7 so much. They could have easily let S24 users download the stable One UI 7, but then it could have been hard for them to promote S25 due to lack of innovation this year
