I have encountered this last week about this dead pixel on the right portion of the screen stretching from top to bottom with a thin green and yellow color appeared on my screen. I just restarted the device and it disappeared after that. Just this day, Nov 6, 2025, it appears again and it won't disappeared after restarting my phone. How can I fix it?
Note: Latest One UI 8.0, RAM 8GB, 128GB internal storage; adjusted to 60Hz refresh rates on standard motion smoothness. Up to now it won't disappeared. I have no other issues aside from this. On the previous years I didn't experience it. This is also the result of updating my device to One UI 8.0. FYI, I didn't drop my phone in anyway prior to this incident.

Thanks, Bro. I really thought this device would last for 5 years. Since December 2023, it is nearly two years when I bought this phone in LazadaPH. Considering this is a premium phone from Samsung wayback three years ago, I presume it won't get any hardware issue. My first smartphone still exist today but with battery problem and don't have the dead pixel issue, that is ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe. My primary selling point I bought the Samsung S22 is the software support for 5 years yet it doesn't make it great with this vertical green line like a Jedi saber. The Nokia 7.2 of my wife being outdated has a very durable display and still functional at this time without a dead pixel. I am not really interested anymore with Samsung S series. I'll go with something durable and stable even without the newer Android version.

Thats good to know, save yourself from samsung headaches 😂 I have s22 ultra and just recently replaced the screen for 13.5k pesos yet my problem now is not receiving cellular data and service but it picks up signal for emergency calls only. So hardware isn't an issue. I'm tired of having to deal with this samsung junk tech. Such a waste of money
