I'm averaging around 4 hours screen of time everyday. I have to charge my phone at least twice a day now.

Before the One UI 6 update I could still have 40% of battery life before going to bed.

I noticed that a lot of S23 Ultra users have been experiencing the same issue ever since updating the software.

When will Samsung fix this issue? It's been going on for months with no resolution or timeline whatsoever.

I'm still getting 6 - 7 SOT on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 July Security Patch.

I normally take screenshots of the SOT, but I deleted a bunch of screen shots this week.

But I do have a couple of screen shots of battery usage.

I always Boot into Recovery after every Security Patch OTA and Wipe Cache.

I was having the same problems too. I used to have 18-19 hours but it went all the way down to 11 hours and would need to charge at least once a day mid day. I also wipe cache after every update and even factory reset the phone. It was one of the reasons why I traded in for the Flip 6 where I am again getting 20 Hours on average and hopefully won't have any batter drain issues with further updates.

Hi the_game969, very sorry to hear to hear that your'e facing this issue after the update.

You can monitor and extend its battery life or use a Power saving mode to get the most out of it.

You will never be stumped about your phone's battery life again. You can try booting your device into Wipe cache partition. This will not erase personal data on the phone. It deletes temporary cache files in the phone.

Turn off the device > Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power Key > When the Android logo displays, release all keys.(("Installing system update" is displayed before displaying the Android system recovery menu options) > Press the Volume down key several times to highlight “wipe cache partition.” > Press the Power key to select > Press the Volume down key to highlight > “yes” and press the Power key to select. When the wipe cache partition is complete, “Reboot system now” is highlighted. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Please visit the link given below and check if it helps to solve battery draining issue on your device.

All these advices has already been given to me in the past. I have spent countless hours trying to solve this issue and none of them are working. A quick research on other platforms and forums shows that this has been an issue for many users and it all started when the OS got updated to One UI 6 and hasn't been solved ever since.

Samsung is well aware of this issue but aren't doing anything to solve it. I feel One UI 6 was a rushed update and wasn't tested out properly before being released. I was hoping all the issues would have been fixed by now but nothing is being done.

Highly dissapointed
