Samsung, This Is Getting Ridiculous – FE Series Deserves Better!

I bought the Galaxy S24 FE in December, and honestly, I’m sick of how Samsung is treating its FE lineup. I always thought FE stood for "Fan Edition", meaning it should cater to tech enthusiasts who appreciate premium features and performance. And yes, the S24 FE performs really well, with great features, but why is Samsung ignoring it when it comes to software updates?

I was genuinely excited to try out One UI 7, but Samsung keeps delaying it! It’s been way too long, and at this point, I don't even think they’ll release the stable version for the FE series anytime soon. Worse, Samsung refuses to add the FE lineup to the Beta Program. Why?!

I'm the kind of person who loves testing new devices and software. I actively engage in tech communities, and I'm even part of the Windows Canary Program, where I test early builds of Windows. But it’s beyond frustrating that Samsung doesn't let FE users participate in Beta testing, especially when there are so many of us eager to provide feedback and help improve One UI.

And it’s not just me—surely there are other FE users who want to join the Beta Program too! Even the A-series is going to be the part of Beta program, and on the other hand FE-series which is expensive and powerful won't. If Samsung refuses to listen the fans, then what’s the point of the FE lineup?

Samsung, if you're listening, please add FE devices to the Beta Program and release One UI 7 for us ASAP. This is getting ridiculous!

This is why I'm trying to unload this piece of garbage phone and get a pixel 9 - a phone that gets timely OS and security updates. I had to wait until Feb 22nd to get the February security patch. That is not only unacceptable it's pathetic. This is the last time I choose a Samsung phone.

Fan Edition simply is Samsung giving fans a slightly better product value for the money by a larger screen and battery at a cheaper price NOT a premium device or expectation.

Try using this apps premium function called the search to find out when OneUI 7 will debut on your particular model.

Bro, I know that, all I meant was at least Fe deserves to get a beta program, as it has a good performance and good hardware, and if A series can get one why, not Fe too.

Icantell you're passionate as weall are about our devices of choice, can't fault you for that. But you're mixing two different and separate things lumping them as the same issue which they are not so it's hard to understand what you MEANT to say vs what you're actually saying ;)

All I meant was I want to be part of the official Beta program, not via root, and if cheaper A series can get the beta program then Why not FE.

Any Google based ai features will be had across any Android phone in mere months. This is what angers me with Samsung relying on Google or any external LLM and libraries when they have the experience and entire team to go it alone and be fully unique. But laziness authentic on down.

No I was referring to gaminghub and Dex which I don't think the FE models have right??
