Galaxy SThank you for your response. While I understand that Samsung Wallet is region-specific, I would like to express my concern as a loyal customer. I purchased the Galaxy S23 Ultra, a flagship device, with the expectation that essential features like Samsung Wallet would function seamlessly when relocating internationally.
Currently, I live in Canada, where Samsung Wallet is officially supported, yet I am unable to use it solely because my device was purchased in India. This limitation puts customers like me at a disadvantage and forces us to rely on alternative solutions, despite having invested in Samsung’s premium ecosystem.
Could you please clarify:
1. Whether there are any official plans or timelines to allow Samsung Wallet functionality across regions.
2. If there are any safe, Samsung-approved procedures to enable Wallet on devices purchased outside of Canada.
I believe enabling such cross-region functionality would greatly improve customer experience for international users and frequent travelers. I kindly request that my feedback be escalated to the relevant product team.

Galaxy SI wanted to share my experience and also hear from others in the same situation.
I purchased my Galaxy S23 Ultra in India and recently moved to Canada, where Samsung Wallet is officially supported. However, I discovered that Wallet doesn’t work on my device simply because it’s an Indian model.
I reached out to Samsung Support, and here’s the summary of their response:
Samsung Wallet is region-specific and won’t work on devices purchased in other countries.
There is currently no timeline or official plan to enable cross-region functionality.
No alternative solutions or support are provided for international devices.
My feedback has been noted and “shared with the concerned team.”
As a loyal customer who invested in a flagship device, this limitation feels restrictive and unfair—especially in today’s global world where people often relocate or travel frequently. Competing services like Google Wallet work seamlessly across borders, so it’s surprising that Samsung hasn’t adapted to this need.

You may generate an error report using the Samsung Members app, which will allow our technical team to review the issue in detail and work toward an appropriate resolution.
