This is 1st Gen GW. 5 years ago. Most likely the watch bought from 2nd hand.

I was looking at the details of the picture too. First day purchase and the band looks that worn/dirty? But the watch is definitely 1st or 2nd gen (If you didn't already confirm it to be 1st).

It usually happens when you wear the band tight with no airflow. It can happen with any type of watch.

Sorry to hear. We're they any resolve to the problem? I turned my watch on and it stated WATCH IS HOT then, it turns itself off. I keep rebooting with same message. Any ideas?
