I recently got a brand new Galaxy S24 Ultra, and I have been doing everything I can to prevent screen burn. I don't use my phone at anything over half brightness, and I do my best to not display static images for a prolonged period of time. The same thing has happened to my previous Galaxy S21+, and I'm not too happy with this problem consistently appearing on my Galaxy devices. This was also a huge problem on my Galaxy S9, before the S21+. What do I do now?

Faint screen burn along the top of the device, where status bar is.

Yes, yes this happened to S20 Ultra and using the useless (non user adjustable) adaptive screen setting we all find its always too dark for decent viewing, so we turn it off. Here is the REAL clincher, they sell us a phone with incredible screen features at ultra-high resolution and technology. They give us optional high brightness and tell us these features as a marketing tool. Yet,,,here we are with our $1200.00 phones damaged by this so-call great screen technology. This is false advertising and needs to addressed, or reported to have this corrected. ASAP

There is zero evidence of any burn-in on my S20 Ultra... So..

My S20 Base model had bad screen burn, but the S22U and S23U never got it. The S24U probably will because of the nits this thing puts out. I'm not sure about the tech to stop it. Sounds like hype. I also need to state I live on the beach in Florida, and am constantly outside in the sun. Still none on my last two ultra models.

I've had my S24 ultra just over a month now and have noticed screenburn along the top of my phone. Coincides with the facebook header on the phone app. I rarely use the phone, and my brightness is less than 25%. Every other Samsung I've owned have not had screenburn and i had them for many years. Currently doing one of those Screenburn app tests to see if it helps, if not i'm sending it back to EE!

Yup! The screen burn on my S24 Ultra has only worsened. Unfortunately, the only way to fix screen burn is to replace the screen entirely. The apps or videos that are supposed to fix screen burn actually only make it worse. The design is not to help repair worn-out pixels but rather to damage the other pixels on the screen to make the current burn in seem less noticeable. Please contact Samsung and get a warranty screen repair. I'm currently on a two week wait list for a new screen, and it will be fully repaired and covered under warranty. I would suggest you do the same! The screen on the S24 Ultra has unfortunately shown to be defective on some units, and chances are, you may have been unlucky and obtained a defective screen unit.

I don't know if your gonna see this but I recently purchased a s23 fe and got screen burn in within 3 weeks so I'm kinda disappointed and everytime I see it when the screen is grey it just breaks my heart that my new phone is damaged.
