Screen Replacement

Hi guys, does anyone have their S20's screen replaced? Was it still water resistant?

Usually once a device is repaired, they really don't recommend it. As the IPx ratings are usually when brand new. 😊

If you'll have it replaced in an official Samsung Service Center it would still have that Ingress Protection, they do rework of the adhesives and devices with IP feature undergo water test after repair.

As for your concern and as per the suggestion of your fellow member here, most screen repairs still have their water resistance since they do replace the adhesive and other materials that are used for water resistance.
