I did a search for this app in Google Play and Samsung store and could't find it but it is an app available as an APK on APKMIRROR so is it possible that you got it there

If you got it from Samsung store updating it should be safe

It's from Samsung store and im personally not updating it along with Samsung visit in that also showed up for an update.

it's designed provide info to samsung's customization service. like the places tab in the phone app.

You can update it's safe

Looks like we don't have a choice, both Samsung positioning and Samsung Visit in updated on their own. ( For me at least any ways )

check your settings to see if you have auto update on.You can also remove update to bring it back to original preloaded state.
