Hello there, I have used Smart view a lot of times on my TV and this is how it went. Number 1, it is pretty good, it gets the work done. But the problem is that it is very laggy and lags behind from everything you perform and your phone such as click or scroll. On iOS, it is buttery smooth and there is minimal lag. Besides this, when you zoom in on pictures on your phone, the result is very different on your Tv and it ends up zooming on a whole new side of the image. Other than this, in the gallery app when you are swiping through images, the mirroring on thr tv is very slow and has a really terrible transition which further hinders the result time. It is like a white flash to another image and happens everytime you swipe through your images.
Besides this, my suggestion would be to resolve these issues and improve the resolution (not a tv thing, the mirroring resoloution) on the tv to actually show some sort of decency when viewing images. My real suggestion is to include a quick toggle in the quick panel to access smart view and connect to devices and disable/enable the mirroring. Although you might argue there is the media and devices button on android 10, it is not convenient and is rather on slow side from what we want. In tie with this, the whole UI when clicking on devices is really not intuitive and is difficult to navigate through. Instead of this:
It would be much easier and convenient if we had an actual toggle or swipe mechanism to do our actions. In the image above, you don't even know where the interacting area is and where the viewing area is, which One UI is about.
