Galaxy SHi ane10,
That's really frustrating! We are sorry to hear that your'e experiencing this issue after an update. Here are some steps to address it:
Check Samsung Cloud Sync:
- Go to Settings > Accounts and Backup > Samsung Cloud.
- Ensure Contacts sync is enabled.
- Tap Sync Now to recover lost contacts.
If you use Google for contacts:
- Go to Settings > Google > Manage Your Google Account > People & Sharing > Contacts.
- Ensure contacts are synced.
- Visit Google Contacts to check if they are stored there.
If other family members use shared accounts (Samsung or Google), conflicts during sync could cause deletions. Ensure each account is properly separated.
Check the Recycle Bin:
- Open the Contacts app.
- Go to Menu (three dots) > Recycle Bin.
- Restore any accidentally deleted contacts.
To prevent Future Issues, regularly back up your contacts via Samsung Cloud or Google Contacts to avoid future data loss.
Thank you.
