So I figured out why Samsung email was running 7h plus in the background, cuz its **bleep**. Uninstalled. Now why is the galaxy wearable app and Google play services draining so much?  My galaxy watch has been off for about a week anyways so I dont get it at all! 

Ideas? TIA

0.7% of battery in 7 hours.... not bad IMO.


the apps are not running @ full, but rather on standby.

You COULD set Galaxy Wearable to "Always Sleeping" - But you should NOT touch Play Services - Besides the battery usage is really quite minimal - .07% over ~ 8 Hrs is nothing to worry about.

To find the Settings for "Always Sleeping":

You  can access this setting in the Device Care menu - Touch Battery - Then touch More option - Touch Settings - Sleeping apps and then Add to select apps to run in this mode.

Some apps HAVE to run in the background - Otherwise the device wouldn't work properly 😉🕊

It is negligible for approximately 8 hours of background running at 0.7% battery.
