Galaxy SHi Stedmister, can you confirm if all the device apps are up to date.
You can check the Google Play Store and the Galaxy Store> My apps.
Also, run the device in safe mode and check if the issue still persists.
safe mode diagnoses the issue exactly if the third-party apps cause the issue or the device. Safe mode to check if added apps are causing problems. This mode only loads basic system software and allows you to disable third-party applications.
1. After turning off the device, turn it on.
2. Once the Samsung logo has started, press and hold the volume down button.
3. When the home screen appears, the safe mode is displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen.
How to deactivate safe mode.
1. Press and hold the power.

Galaxy SPeople are saying that they hear an echo from your voice when you are using the speaker phone?
It *COULD* be the surrounding environment where you are making the calls from, or does the echo happen all the time, regardless of where you are?
Check to see if you have "hearing aid compatibility" enabled, but I don't think that would be the problem.
Other thing you can try is getting a new SIM card from your Carrier, they should give it to you for free.
Of course you did try a simple Reboot as well?
