I'm disappointed with the galaxy s22 plus, because when I go out in sub-zero temperatures it gets cold and the speaker doesn't work, it's so stressful

No, I'm not sure. I've not realy heard of this happening with a phone before but it does makes sense. My guess to the problem is that when your phone gets cold the speaker freezes in a way and when the phone tryst to use it it makes that destored audio.

Hi, we recommend you to Use the device at an optimal usage temperature (32° - 95°F).

Extended use or storage at temperatures above 95°F or below 32°F will exacerbate battery performance and may lead to unexpected shutdowns and shorter battery life.

If you expose your device to temperature extremes, let the device adjust to an appropriate temperature (32° - 95°F) before use.

Do not use or place your device in hot environments, like a hot car on a summer day, for extended periods of time.

Do not place or store your device in cold environments, like below-zero temperatures during wintertime.

Also, if you are still facing the issue.

We request you to get your phone examined by the Samsung authorized service center so that they can determine the root cause of the issue and fix it.

You can visit any nearest authorized service center .
