It's unfortunate to hear that you're experiencing issues with your new Galaxy S22's speaker in cold weather. While electronic devices can sometimes behave differently in different environmental conditions, it's not common for a smartphone's speaker to sound blown and muffled due to cold weather alone. However, if you're sure that this issue only occurs in cold temperatures and hasn't been present in your previous Samsung devices, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Restart the Phone: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches or software issues that might be affecting the speaker's performance.

  2. Check for Software Updates: Make sure your phone's software is up to date. Manufacturers often release updates to address various bugs and issues.

  3. Check Speaker Grill: Inspect the speaker grill area for any debris, dust, or moisture that might be obstructing the sound. Cleaning it gently with a soft brush or compressed air might help.

  4. Safe Mode: Boot your phone in safe mode to see if any third-party apps are causing the issue. If the speaker works fine in safe mode, then one of your installed apps might be causing the problem.

  5. Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, you might consider performing a factory reset on your device. Remember to back up your data before doing this, as a factory reset will erase all your data and settings.

  6. You can also visit fix my speakers to get more solutions.

It's worth noting that extreme cold temperatures can indeed affect electronic devices, potentially causing temporary malfunctions. However, if the issue continues even in moderately cold weather, it might be indicative of a hardware defect that should be addressed by the manufacturer's support team.

If your new Galaxy S22's speaker sounds blown and muffled in slightly cold weather, try restarting, checking for software updates, and booting into Safe Mode. If the issue persists, consider a factory reset. If none of these solutions work, contact Samsung Support for assistance. It's uncommon for a modern smartphone to have such issues in slightly cold weather.

Or by any chance if the phone recently fell into water then try fix my speaker to clean the speaker from water.

It sounds like the speaker issue might be related to how the phone’s components react to colder temperatures. While Samsung Galaxy devices are generally built to handle a range of conditions, extreme cold can sometimes cause condensation or slight contraction in materials, leading to temporary distortions in sound quality.

To troubleshoot, you could:

  1. Ensure the phone isn’t exposed to prolonged cold temperatures.
  2. Test the speaker indoors at room temperature to see if the issue resolves.
  3. Clean the speaker grill gently to rule out any blockage.

If the problem persists, it might be worth visiting Samsung support to check for hardware issues. Also, if you're into random testing (like spinning a decision wheel to determine your next gadget accessory), check out Vòng Quay May Mắn —a handy tool for making fun, random choices!

Wow, this really seems like a big problem. I've never heard of the speaker sounding so bad in the cold before. Have you noticed that when the cold cools down, it gets better? Maybe a little moisture or dew has gotten into the speaker. Check if there is any update on the phone. If not, it would be better to show it to the nearest Samsung service center. And yes, you can try a great tool called Fix My Speaker. It is a very popular and beautiful tool that helps you remove dust or water from the phone and fix the speaker again. You can try it once, it might be useful. I would also like to know if anyone else has had this happen.

When your speaker stops working, don't panic. First, check all connections and power sources. Restart your device and update audio drivers. Clean speaker ports from dust buildup. Test with different audio sources to isolate the problem. If distortion occurs, lower volume levels. For persistent issues, try system audio troubleshooting tools or consider professional repair services.
