Watching movies stays at 120hz? Is there  a solution for this? I watched same movie for 2 days. At first it switched to 48hz but when i watched it again in the following day it suddenly stays at 120hz.

I thought the latest update was meant to fix that. You saying it didn't?

No problem with other apps aside from watching movies using vlc. Suddenly stayed to 120hz. Even before the update, i experienced these 2 scenarios already.hehe

Then maybe VLC ain't optimized yet.

Hey there! How's your recent Galaxy experience? Your fellow member here might have a point, that the VLC is not yet optimized that's why you're experiencing such concerns regarding the refresh rate. Try and check for any latest updates with the app, and/or wait for the update to come. Hope to have helped you as well. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the week. 😀

Hi jeffthrine,

Things like this happen when you get a fresh new OS 😛 Some devs haven't been able to patch their apps yet. Keep an eye out - might be fixed by the next update :)
