Weird. I thought the Note 8 had the chip unlocked here? The S8 definitely has the chip, like the S7 (International models have it, they are Exynos too). And Bell/Rogers said they would unlock it on every supported device...

exynos doesn't have fm capabilities except for the 7570. They do have the fm module built in. you'd have to look at the tech sheets. all the snapdragon models have the fm chip built in
