Sudden green line on S23

Anyone here having the same issue as i am? There's a green line on my screen all of a sudden. Never dropped my phone nor put it near a water. Phone is also on a case since the beginning. Heard about this issue on the internet which is common apparently to samsung phones and i heard they're offering a one time screen replacement. Is this true?

I'm not quite sure but I recall those one time screen replacements were only phones that were in India.

Exactly, but they should implement this all throughout who are affected by the issue. This isn't the consumer's fault, and they haven't even addressed ut officially. I find it absurd that given how much we paid for a flagship phone, they are not providing answers nor support. Consumer shouldering the cost for something they did not do is really absurd.

I have been a Samsung user for a long time and have never had any problems with my S10. Recently, I upgraded to the S23+, which is now approaching its third year of use. Initially, I thought the green line issue was just an urban legend, but after updating my phone last week, I noticed a green line appeared two days later. Then, four days after that, another green line showed up. 

I discovered on Samsung forums from other countries that screen replacements were offered for free in India. Unfortunately, there is no concrete solution for this issue in the Philippines yet. I am taking my phone to a service center tomorrow to see what can be done. I also read in another forum that someone filed a case with the DTi and received a discount on the repair costs. I’m curious to see how my situation will turn out.

Samsung should address this, because most affected are flagship phones. Please let me know how much they quote you

I inquired and customer service was good. But it would take 3 days for your phone to get repaired
