Galaxy S10+ receives a new firmware update on T-Mobile

T-Mobile is rolling out firmware version G975USQU5GUCG for the Galaxy S10+. The update comes in just under 2GB. It features the security patch for the month of March 2021. It’s not quite the latest patch, considering that some unlocked units have already started receiving the May patch elsewhere.

You can use our new tool to find out if your device has the latest security patch available for it. This One UI 3.1 update further improves the feature set of the devices. It also makes improvements to the device stability and fixes a few bugs.

Among the handful of features that One UI 3.1 brings include video call effects. This feature lets you blur the background in video calls made with apps like Google Duo and Zoom. One UI 3.1 also enables you to remove the location data from photos before sharing them online.

Galaxy S10+ owners on T-Mobile can expect to receive an over-the-air update notification on their handsets soon. The latest firmware for this device is also available for download from our database.
