Galaxy S
suddenly this morning my phone stopped sending and receiving texts.
I've tried the following
clearing cache
clearing data files
booting in safe mode
resetting the device
so far no luck
nothing seems to help

Since your phone stopped sending and receiving texts, the cause may be with the carrier and not the phone. I would suggest giving the technical department of your mobile service provider a call, let them know what steps you went through to try to fix the issue yourself and they may be able to help you further.

Thats what I would say, reach out to carrier tech support, make sure there are no issues on there end and ask them if they have a log of all the failed SMS attempts.
Good luck!

it must be a carrier issue. first you could try to pop off the SIM card tray and make sure it's inserted correctly. if not, give your carrier a call and ask them what to do

Like others said it sounds like a carrier issue. I hope this is resolved for you soon. Good luck.
