Unable to turn on: Caller ID and Spam

I am unable to turn on the caller ID and Spam protection in S8+ settings. Anyone else having this issue?

It's because your Carrier deactivated this option.

It's only available with certain carriers. I'm with Bell and have the Caller ID and SPAM Protection, it's under Advanced Features.

You can use 3rd party app from Google play store for caller ID and Spam protection

I never had the option any at all on my note8, but I changed my csc from CHR to fido CSC and now it works like a charm.

I spoke with my carrier here in Canada. They told me that it was not disabled by them.

It's a regular sh!t show. I posted about this a month ago. I can turn it on and it will work for varying lengths of time and then decide not to. I'm with Rogers and it's not carrier disabled. I gave up though so should you lol
