Hello guys. I really wanted to keep the how-to up to date with the latest beta and even make a follow-up video and a separate how-to update the beta, but this happened:

The screen is fine, but the motherboard is fried (you can see the PC didn't make it past the BIOS, then another attempt only went as far as the BIOS diagnostics, then another only as far as OS Recovery [Windows RE]). So I can't use my laptop anymore and I don't have another PC (library prevents usage of .exe, also they are low on RAM).

And I still haven't heard back from Dell so who knows when it will get fixed (is covered by warranty).

Sorry for failing my engagement to provide a safe and up to date way to get the beta.

I plead guilty to all charges.

Dell doesn't seem in any rush to come help me. I'll give them a little reminder that I am in no rush to buy any other Dell product either

Seems to me like all OEMs give trash support though.

Sounds so... customer friendly. That can't be a company!

Closest to that I ever saw was Nintendo. Anything short of you hammering the device on purpose is covered by their warranty. And the replacement unit is always brand new with a one year warranty on it too (Dell will use a refurb motherboard). But, all that won't please the board of investors...

IBM was savage. Good thing their line of PC collapsed after OS/2 failed. Then sold out ThinkPad to Lenovo, who ruined it (like they ruined Motorola, OG Moto G/G2 you will always be remembered as the affordable Nexus made with quality in mind).

Do give us feedback if you ever have to service your Samsung laptop. Might have to upgrade my PC next year, if Intel ever releases their 10nm IceLake processors one day (Coffe Lake still stuck on a single ULV i3 processor. What a generation it is...) or something with good thermals and a 6-core i7 + GTX 1070
