So apparently eventhough not under contract anymore, as long as device is bought under a telco companies, the device manufacturer(in this case, samsung) has some certain terms and conditions and says the app comes preinstalled with the device and no programming can revoke this coding (really?) Didn't think the myumobile apps function was crucial to the device, unless its the branding issue that umobile wants over the device

anw, samsung has decided to help by temporarily blocking the device and eject an Input into the device to allow the myumobile app to be uninstalled; but if device were to reset - the app would automatically be preinstalled

I think Its not samsung. It's network provider integrated security programs where they can simply block your sim if u have outstanding while on contract. In other countries they even put sim lock.
