Utilizing Jio 5G service on Canadian S24 in India.

Hey, how do I get my Canadian S24 to work with Jio 5G in India? What's the easiest way? Anyone else use 5G in India with an Canadian phone?

Why does same phone bought from India allows to use 5G on the same carrier and not on internationaly bought S24?

Why Samaung needs to make the firmware restrictive? Apple Iphones can be used in India easily. It's only samsung who have issues like this.

Hi so I think you should contact jio support or something like that but it should work looking at if the bands are correct

It has been questioned on here why India devices don't work on Canadian 5G so is likely right that Canadian devices don't work on India 5G

Yes, as adviced by our Community members, A Canadian S24 might not automatically detect or prioritize Jio's 5G bands due to firmware settings, even though the hardware supports them.

Please contact Jio support directly to confirm if they can enable 5G for your Canadian S24.
