Another screen issue this year huh? 🙄 First was the white/green screen tint last June. Did factory reset, went to the nearest available ( and operating) service center and they "updated" my phone's software. Fast forward December, another screen issue occurred. Their solution? Factory reset again. 🤦

That's exactly what they told me. After 5 days leaving my phone to SC I called them for an update because I was not recieving any news from them and they just told me that I can now go to the shop where I bought my phone and have replacement. No explanation or what, saw my technical report and and all that was written was 'Couldnt perform test due to phone green/white screen'. Didn't even get discount or what not.

Sorry to hear that! Have you tried calling their hotline or contact via live chat? I'm sure they can assist you. Yes, you can barely use once it's green/white screen. So they advised to factory reset it and they installed a "software update" last june. Everything was ok until the green line happened. As for this month's issue, the service center who contacted me was very helpful and kept me updated from time to time. If it's under 1 week, you can have your phone replaced, if not, SC should've repaired it for you and not ask you to have it replaced by the same shop where you bought it.

Same issue with my phone. This green line appears out of no where. Seems like most s20 plus users experienced same issue.

Yes! Happened to alot of S20+ users and turns out to be a screen issue. Please contact their hotline or live chat support or you can visit their service center for assistance. If it's under warranty, they'll have it replaced.

I have the same issue. My phone is out of warranty. It is chargeable. I am reluctant to pay.

Out of no way, another green fine line appear.

My S20 Ultra is experiencing the same issue. I'm worried I'll lose all data if I leave it at the service center already. Sometimes it still works but the screen goes back to this white screen issue. 😨

Highly recommend to do a back up just incase and better have it replaced and fixed asap.

Now that would be a problem. Did you enable the auto back up feature in Samsung Cloud? If yes, then you can restore your data via samsung cloud. If not, use the smart switch via desktop and back up your data. Another option is plug your phone via PC/Laptop and transfer files manually (Photos, Videos, doc files only).

Did the factory reset worked for the green vertical line? I don't know how to resolve this issue since there's no service center near me as of this time.
