Another screen issue this year huh? 🙄 First was the white/green screen tint last June. Did factory reset, went to the nearest available ( and operating) service center and they "updated" my phone's software. Fast forward December, another screen issue occurred. Their solution? Factory reset again. 🤦

Unfortunately, no. The screen needs to be replaced as this is a hardware issue.

Since a lot are complaining about this. Samsung should tag this as a known issue for s20 plus. It's just so weird that out of no where this green line will show. And weirdest is, a lot of user have the same prob. Samsung should take an action. repair is so costly at 16k, wew!

My wife's s20+ had green vertical lines appearing on screen. It started on the left side and then after 3 months another appeared at the center. This started about a year and 2 months since she bought the phone. Never even dropped it. We set up an appointment with samsung service center and they replaced the screen free of charge. We were thinking we might shell out money for repair since it's past the 1 year warranty but it looks like they extended it for this type of issue. The samsung rep said it's a factory defect so it's probably a known issue on their end, much like recall on cars.

i tried the option of Email to CEO in Singapore, spoke to customer service also, they admitted that there is an inherent problem with the Samsung S20+, but they will NOT repair it free of cost if its out of warranty, that means, all high end phones from Samsung are to expected to work efficiently ONLY till 1 Yrs Warranty Period. If something goes wrong  to the phone, even and especially if it is due to phone's inherent issues or NO FAULT OF the OWNER,  Samsung WILL NOT take responsibility or Repair. This was made very clear to me over two separate phone calls from Samsung support center.  so if its out of warranty, its Owner's bad luck that the fault came after completion of warranty period.

With this response and attitude, is it really worth spending such amount to buy high end Samsung Phones, knowing that after warranty of 1 yr is over, the phone may just become a glorious Paper weight and Samsung will be happy to sell you another one with same liability.

SHAME ON SAMSUNG !! with this attitude, soon they will vanish..
