Vertical line on S22ultra after security update on 14th Oct

Hi Samsung Customer Care,

A vertical green line suddenly appeared on my S22 Ultra after I installed a software update last week. I just had my phone checked in the Samsung Mobile Service Centre in OneUtama, they have told me that the free exchange campaign for the free exchange due to the green line issue has been ended. Cost around 800++ and they couldn't assure me after the screen replacement this vertical line will not appear again. Hope Samsung will consider to extend the screen replacement program similar to India as well!

I have switch from Apple to Samsung couple of year back and hope i won't need to switch back to Apple again due to this manufacturing defects!

Same decice, same issue happened to me just 2 days ago but a pink line. I was charging my phone casually then the line just randomly appeared out of no where. This device used to be a top-notch device back in 2022 and I cant believe I had spent 5-6k on a device which only last 2 years long. This is obviously a manufactuerer defect and it is still happening globally. No way I have to spend another  1k for screen replacement. They really need to do something about this.

Sad case, and there is no action taken by Samsung Malaysia to remedy the issue!

i managed to get the free screen exchange back in july this year, the branch representative said that end of july the campaign ended. also, that is base on stock available in samsung sc.

The basic troubleshooting doesn't help and requests to surrender the phone for further investigation! There is no response when I query for the process and whether it incurs any charges 😂
