Solved.

Hi everyone,

Its wierd that after resetting my S23 Ultra canadian ver. I am hearing wierd vibration sounds when i receive call every one around me notice that i am receiving a phone call,

When i figuring this out more deeply.
It happens when i am receiving a call and when i am adjusting the vibration intensity of call in settings with slider.

During notifications and receiving calls via other applications like whatsapp, textnow or Facebook messenger it behaves normal.

I also checked vibration in phone diagnostic it seems to be okay, and i also checked vibration in hidden diagnostic menu *#0*# it is okay over there too.

I tried to disable bixby, bixby call, changed vibration intensity to the lowest from settings issue is same.

Anyone has any idea what is going on how i can solve this issue.

I apriciate all comments with solutions.

Thanks

Just a guess, but it sounds like it might be the Vibration Pattern that you have selected for Calls.

Go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > & Click on "Call Vibration", Change the Vibration Pattern & See if you notice a difference with a different Vibration Pattern?

On my device, I have "Heart Beat" pattern & depending on the strength of the vibration you have selected, it can be quite noticeable.

I selected basic call vibration, same as usual in my s20+ it works fine.

I added a video you can hear the issue.

Yeah, that sounds pretty weird for sure. Does it make that same sound, regardless of which Vibration Pattern you are using?

It almost sounds like feedback from the speaker, or some kind of distortion.

It's definitely not normal.

You may want to visit a Samsung Service Centre to get it checked out by a tech.

I feel it is more like a bug which is triggered with bunch of settings combination because normal vibration is working fine even in diagnostic section.

My guess was right, I reset all of the settings of my phone, and it works back to normal again. Thanks for the useful comment .😊

The issue was probably that you had this on. Especially if you say that it only happens on phone calls.

Toggle it on and off and test it to see if that's what was happening.Screenshot_20230830_214810_Settings.jpg

The circled option isn't available on my S20 Ultra, but I could see it being useful 👍🏻

The feature I circled doesn't turn on or off the vibration for calls.

If you turn it on, it'll play a sound to imitate the vibration to make it louder so you don't miss it. Which kind of describes the issue you originally posted.

If you turn it off, it'll still vibrate but won't make the sound.
