Hi All,

Do your colors look washed out, even though you set the screen mode to vivid?

If yes, then this should help you sort it out.

Goto Settings>Display>Screen Mode

Once you select "Vivid" a button "Advanced Settings" becomes available under the "White Balance" slider.

Hit it (lightly😅) and it will take you into another screen that will have a "Vividness" slider, turn this slider all the way up and you should notice that your colors now look richer than before.

Things to note: while the "Advanced Settings" button is present in ONEUI 6.1, the "Vividness" slider is missing. I assume it may have been taken out quietly due to a bug (I can not find any mention of this in previous changelogs) or it never existed.

Cheers!

You need to switch off eye comfort shield, in order to see the advanced setting option

Then this most likely a feature only available in ONEUI 7, check back once your device gets updated and let's see if it becomes available.

Hi Anderson199214,

Thanks for sharing this tip! You’re absolutely right that when using the "Vivid" screen mode, colors should be more vibrant, but sometimes it can still feel a bit washed out. Adjusting the Vividness slider, if available, would certainly help bring those colors back to life.

If the slider doesn’t appear, trying a reset of the screen settings might bring it back. Go to Settings > Display > Screen Mode and toggle between settings to see if the option appears again.

If you still find the colors to be washed out, you could try setting the Screen Mode to Natural and tweaking the white balance using the Color Balance tool. This can help in fine-tuning the display without needing the Vividness slider.

Thank you.

Thank you!!!!!

Since the first time I started using the phone I realized that the colors were a bit washed out!

And somehow I think it comes and goes, depending on phone usage etc...

Don't know if it's my imagination, but sometimes the colors are fine, others don't etc.

Just set the vividness to the middle setting and I think it's fine now!
