Galaxy SHi guitargod,
Even after updating the Google Play Store, the security patch level on your device may remain unchanged. This could be due to the Google Play System Update being delayed or temporarily stuck, often as a result of device-specific rollout schedules. Additionally, some updates include background enhancements that improve performance and security without visibly altering the patch date.
To ensure your device is fully up to date, please follow the steps below:
-
Update the Google Play Store
-
Open the Play Store
-
Tap your profile icon
-
Navigate to Settings > About
-
Tap Update Play Store if available
-
-
Clear Cache and Data
-
Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store and Google Play Services
-
Tap Storage
-
Select Clear Cache and Clear Data
-
-
Restart Your Device in Safe Mode
-
This can help isolate any third-party interference and allow updates to process correctly
-
If the issue persists after completing these steps, please reach out to the community for further help.
