i am looking to be able to turn off sounds at night, but with the following exceptions
- whitelist some contacts which will always ring
- alarm clock will always ring
online I've read that in Android Do Not Disturb rules, I can enable the Alarm can override end time setting, however i cannot locate that on my Samsung Galaxy S9
this was no problem and easy to set on my Android/BlackBerry DTEK50 and 60 (and all my other BlackBerry phones)
can you help me find the settings on my S9?

I believe that you go into settings, sound and vibration Do not disturb, then to allow exceptions from there all your answers will be there. If there is something else or if I misunderstood you please let me know.

@kac, follow what @Mattie said, in the exceptions select custom, as for having only certain contacts ring when using Do Not Disturb, you will need to go into contacts and add the ones you want as favorites, and select favorites in the custom exceptions.
