Wifi authentication error

Hello everyone.
Wifi is not connecting to any network except my home wifi. I even tried connecting to an open network and my college wifi with correct username and password but it shows authentication error even on the open one .

try restarting your device and double check the name/password field of the specific wifi connections.

Are you near any shaw open hotspots for you to try?

I can connect to my home wifi. But when i try any others, it shows authentication error even if the network is open

hmm I feel like something in wifi settings got tweaked. any way to set your wifi settings back to default?

I tried restarting my phone and some other stuff like turning the wifi on in airplane mode but it didn't work out . So i guess a factory reset is the last resort .

If you search "reset network settings", it should take you to the screen in the screenshot. Please give that a try!
