Youtube Drain

I'm not sure what the problem is but I've noticed after the April update YouTube has been very greedy with the phones battery. 

Things I've tried

1. Uninstalling and reinstalling app

2. Clear cache partition

I have the S24 Ultra

Im just going to use youtube music for now

I've also been experiencing this problem on my S23 Ultra. The YouTube app makes the battery and processor run really hot after a little while. Running YouTube in a web browser is fine, however.

They've been notified now. Not sure how far it's going to go though
