Welly on a Plate and Auckland Restaurant Month are in full swing during the month of August so it’s safe to say that August is officially food month in New Zealand. We wanted to try out some of the most drool-worthy dishes and capture them using food mode on the Galaxy S21.

To get the most out of your food photography when trying to capture the best #foodstagram, we recommend using food mode on your Galaxy device.

How to use food mode:

  1. Open your camera app
  2. Press ‘more’ on the bottom right-hand side
  3. Select the ‘food mode’ setting
  4. Position your camera and click away to capture the perfect food shot

Kamayan Boodle Fighter

@masterkongwellington whipped us up a delicious Kamayan Boodle Fighter platter fit for those who love to graze over a shared plate. Each member of the Master Kong Team has contributed a delicious element that represents their cultural heritage to complete the dish.

Dish elements: Pandan steamed rice, Preston’ beef nilaga, salted egg yolk prawn, English coronation chicken, Sarawak pork, and lamb yakhni on banana leaves with Asian dipping sauces
