So, the S22 is right around the corner, and Samsung believe we should trust them to produce a good user experience. Yet my Z Flip 3 is still on Android 11 with the "promised January release" of Android 12 never appearing. With one day left of the month...

No software update since November. No security releases. Nothing. 

Feel confident your S22 launch is going g to be a success Samsung? Or are you just fine with continuing to loose your marketshare to Apple and Google?

If click on the white notification bell icon you can see when your update will be arriving.

BTW Samsung's biggest competitor is actually Xiaomi (Was Huawei until after the US Ban) Google hasn't been really focused on selling units until the Pixel 6 while Apple can compete with Samsung but most of the time there focused on a slightly different market than Samsung.

The update for the Fold3 and Flip3 has been pushed back to February.

Samsung or the carriers may have found issues.

To be honest, I'd rather they delay it then push it out with issues.

Looks like Australia is operating in a seperate universe. So many other countries got the updates and you're claiming Australia would have unique problems lol

I didn't make that claim.

Obviously there's reasons why Samsung has delayed the release from January to February for the Z series.

My sources, as you called them, were Samsungs own notifications.
I haven't seen that it's pushed back later.

I'm not making excuses for Samsung at all, I suggested a possible scenario only.

If you're notifications are now showing March, then mine are wrong, as mine said February.

I do not know why that's occurring.

Edit: @SamsungLaura has also mentioned previously in another post the delay until February.
