Galaxy ZIf I were you, I'd wait for a few months after the Flip / Fold 5 devices have been released. See if there are some continuing issues with hinges, and particularly screen protectors.. but that's just me 🙂

Galaxy ZAs someone who has had all the folds, I can say that after a while, I've always gotten tired of the form and weight. It's fun to use for sure and has its unique use cases. But personally, I always found myself wanting to go back to a regular phone. I find that nowadays, phone screen are big enough like the S23 Ultra for example. And if I really did need a bigger screen, I'd simply use my tablet.
Having said that, I think I'd want to try out the flip this time around as a daily driver. More compact and easier to carry.
That's my personal experience though. But knowing me, I'd probably still get the fold 5 to test it 🤣
Never had an issue with the hinges and/or screen, but they did change the hinge mechanism this time around so who knows.
I've also been eyeing the foldable from other brands like Honor Magic V2, Motorola Razr+ or waiting for the One Plus Fold but it stresses me out for the warranty if I have to export a foldable internationally.
I just love tech and love to test out new devices lol.
But either way, you can't go wrong with any of the devices as they are both solid devices. Just for different crowds. If you love photography though, I'd say the fold as the flip is pretty weak in that department.
