Woah smart that u went to another service centre to have it assessed. 😆 Hopefully, they can offer a one-time replacement. 🙏
If you are planning to use it for another 2 years or so, I would say go for the repair, but if u have the time, u may want to visit Samsung Malaysia's service centre. The cost of repair will be about 20% cheaper, as compared to quote by Samsung Singapore.
Still, let's hope in Singapore side, they can waive off the repair cost. Also, ur warranty just ended. Unexpected that such will happen.
because i spoke with the samsung agent online n she mentioned that i cld request for the technician to evaluate first before doing any repair. so i went to another svc centre. anw e lady at e other service centre also had better service la or rather able to offer flexibility.
