I recently had a problem with my z flip 3. Whenever I flip it to open the screen goes black and I had to turn on the powet button to turn it back on. It works fine with display and everything but you can't flip it to close as the screen won't turm on not unless you are charging it. So I decided to bring it to an authorized samsung service center. Tonight, I received a call and I was told that the LCD needs to be replaced. I told the person who called me that there was nothing wrong with the LCD yet he insist that it was the diagnosis of the technician who checked it. Since my phone was already 2 mos out of warranty, I will have to pay about 19k+ if I want the LCD to be replaced. I am very dismayed about this experience since I was using Samsung for more than 13 yrs now. Getting Z Flip 3 was my mistake. So I would rather get an Iphone than get it repaired. I won't be fooled by Samsung anymore. Clearly it's an attempt to rip off money! I still have S21 working perfectly. I will stop getting Samsung device because of this experience.

Already reported but they just reiterated the diagnosis of the technician in the service center. Now, I am left with no option but to spend 19,76

I need to pay 19765 for the repair cost. Oh they offer a CRp but you have to buy a 10k+ worth of phone in samsung go get a discount on the repair. This will just be a lessoned learn from me. This will be the last device I will purchase from samsung too

I have a different issue with flip 3, same sentiment I am so disappointed with Samsung!! My flip 3 phone does not charge when folded so I have to charge it while open and sometimes it indicated the charging has been stopped due to low temperature

I went to the service center and said that the issue is from the LCD which apparently I do not have any idea why because I have never dropped this phone I handel it very carefully. It will cost me 20k something to have the LCD fixed. I have this phone for 1 year and 4 months and its very annoying since this is really expensive. Never again for Samsung.

The thing about zflip phone, all parts are in 1 module. So if there's an issue the entire module needs to be replaced. And yeah, it's costly.
